About Us
Who are we?
Durbanville Auction House is a family owned auction house and antique buyer based in Durbanville, Cape Town. We hold in-person live auctions in the Durbanville area every 2 weeks.
What do we do?
As an auction house our primary service is to facilitate the sale of our clients items through the auctioneering process. Although we specialize in antiques and collectables we also provide this service for the sale of everyday items on behalf of deceased estates, for insurance salvage, liquidations, for shop soiled or reject items from stores as well as to the everyday consumer. In addition we also offer to purchase items outright from clients who would prefer to do so rather than auctioning their items.
What do we auction?
Though the primary focus of our auction house is on Antiques and Collectables we also auction and purchase common everyday items such as Jewelry, Appliances, Furniture, Tools, Bric and Brac, Building Materials, Landscaping and Gardening materials etc.
Where are we?
Durbanville Auction House is located in Durbanville, Cape Town. Our current premises is located at 5 Nucon Park behind Durbanville Memorial Park within the Durbanville Industrial area. Our street address is 12 Stillewater Street.
When are we open?
We currently work primarily by appointment for those of our clients who wish to sell/auction antiques and collectables as well as other goods. These clients can contact us via whatsapp, phone call or email at anytime from 8:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday. We are fully open to the public for purchases on every auction and viewing day from 8:00 -15:00.
When are our Auctions?
Our auctions are held every second or third week on a Saturday with our viewing days taking place on the Friday from 9am. Auctions begin at 10am on the Saturday. The dates of our auctions are announced after each previous auction on our Facebook page as well as our website.
